Pro-ENBIS meeting to discuss an ENBIS Academy discussion group on Six Sigma

There was a lot of interest in an Enbis Academy at the Copenhagen conference and also at the Pro-ENBIS meeting in Ljubljana. This aligns with the Pro-ENBIS project, for example, in Work Package 6 the task "Drafting a European Training Network".

So since the Project Officer can only attend on Wednesday and Thursday, 1st and 2nd December, it seemed a good opportunity to try to progress this idea on the 3rd December.

So on Friday 3rd December we will discuss the possibilities for an academy and a six-sigma endorsement from the Enbis Academy. In particular, we will work towards obtaining the following for Six Sigma

  • A review of the curricula used by Pro-ENBIS practitioners and others
  • A core curriculum for ENBIS endorsement
  • The accreditation criteria used by ENBIS six sigma practitioners
  • A consensus minimum requirement for black belt accreditation
  • A possible statement from an ENBIS Six Sigma practitioners circle or similar
  • A proposal for Peer review by ENBIS members
  • Guidelines for ENBIS endorsement in general.

In advance of the meeting we will be asking everyone for their outline Six Sigma syllabuses, time scale and criteria so that we can have a significant outcome from the day.
